No release date in the article for anyone curious. Warband was a fantastic game, if too shallow without mods (so consoles had a much worse experience than PC). Hopefully Bannerlord comes with a modding platform. I'm sure mods added a ton of content, but I wouldn't call the vanilla game shallow by any definition.

Winning some and losing some in the long-awaited medieval warfare sequel. Since it launched into Early Access this past Monday I’ve spent about 20 hours with Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord so far, and it definitely makes a mixed impression. On one hand, it’s a whole lot prettier than its 10-year-old predecessor, Mount & Blade: Warband.
