Level up your weapon and armor smith and start crafting the daily ascended mats. Trinkets are easy enough to get, with laurels, guild commendations. For the back pack I found Sirens Landing to be quickest providing you have Season 3. The easiest amulet to get is from the guy in the hut after completing "The Hunger" achievement in Bjora marches.
If you just want ascended gear though strikes is a fairly easy (but somewhat slow) way to get it. You can get about 200-300 (blue+green) prophet shards per week depending on how consistent you do them and you need 1300 shards + 47.5 gold for a full set of armor.
Only the amulets are really worth it. Rings youâre better off getting for 10 pristine fractal relics a piece, and the accessories you get from guild commendations are a much better deal. Without living story Amulets donât have a cheaper option outside of laurels. Keep in mind that those trinkets donât have all the stats available, however
EdgarDrake. ⢠2 yr. ago. At the moment, some exotic armor/weapon only cost less than 50 silver in Trading Post, which means trying to fully gear 6 slot armor should only cost 3 - 5 gold == 3 days of daily achievement. Weapon is cheaper than armor I guess, so 2 weapon should only cost 1 gold.
Made two sets of ascended for my necro, have a nearly-complete set of chests in the bank so here goes: Silverwastes chestfarming: You get a lot of loot, and opening each chest or lootbag has a small, small chance to drop an ascended chest -- I had a very lucky streak over a couple of months once, then my RNG died, but I've looted 7-9 chests in my time spent playing.
Acended gear is a must for Tier 4 Fractals, and fractals are a solid gold making pve activity. You lose out on experience for Masteries though, so you are better off chasing Masteries in open while concurrently working on your Ascended gear. Strikes and Wizard Vault are the easiest ways to get Ascended items.
Certainly it's inconsistent, although some people feel (for whatever reason) that Diviner's fits HoT style rather than PoF style. The original post is about Diviner's gear. If you have concerns about adding other stats to LS3 trinkets or other methods to obtain them via LS4, I think a new thread would be appropriate.
